In the rolling hills of Perugia in the region of Umbria, known as the Green Heart of Italy , the Trampolini family has been producing the finest artesian extra virgin olive oil since 1785. From within the walls of their olive mill that date back to the 13th century, the family’s passion and dedication has passed down from generation to generation. They start by selecting only the finest handpicked Dolce Agogia, Moraiolo, Frantoio and Leccino variety olives and pressing them within 24 hours of harvesting. After allowing for natural decantation, they blend these unfiltered oils into a secret family recipe creating their signature “ Black Label” Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The bold fruity flavors of the Umbrian olives stands up well to roasting and sauteing meats, fowl and vegetables, but is superior when drizzled to finish any dish, soup or salad. Used for a bruschetta or simply for dipping will make your mouth dance with joy ! 750 ml (25.4 oz)

Finally back in stock ! Since 1945 the Agostini family continues to dedicate their love and attention into producing the finest extra virgin olive oil. As active members of Italy's Slow Food  Movement great care is taken from the olive harvest, which is strictly done by hand, to the pressing, which is completed within 24 hours of the harvest. From this labor of love is born “Sublimis”, the L'ERCOLE OLIVARIO di Spoleto award winning superior quality oil. Its well balanced flavor comes from carefully selecting only the best Frantoio and Carboncella olive varieties found in the rolling hills of the Fermo area in the Marche region of Italy near the Adriatic Sea. This will not be available again until the next harvest November 2013.  Try our Trampolini Black Label. It is the same olive oil that has been left to decant (settle). It is truly delicious, full of flavor but just a bit more mellowed. Almost impossible to find in the USA, and certainly not at this price, this limited edition olive oil is the very first from the Umbrian olive harvest that began in mid-October. Referred to as "Novello" (new oil) and available for only a short period of time, this oil is the freshest fruitiest obtainable. Unlike other olive oil pressings that continue through late December , and where the oil goes into immense stainless steel containers to naturally decant and allow for the olive sediment to settle to the bottom, the olives for "Novello" are pressed and then immediately bottled. The result is a thick, cloudy and full bodied olive oil with an intense green color. Its bold intense bouquet of unripened fruit leaves peppery sensations on the palette. This is an unfiltered finishing oil in the purest sense used for bruschetta, salads, on dips, soups, pasta dishes, grilled and roasted meats, poultry or shellfish. 750 ml (25.4 oz)
