I LOVE the raspberry vinegar. I just added it to olive oil and we loved it. But I’m emailing you because of the truffle sauce! I steamed yukon gold potatoes  and sliced them and put your truffle sauce and a little salt, parmesan cheese on them. Covered them with tin foil for a little while and they were wonderful! With a watermelon salad and spinach, they were incredible!

Funny story, I was out with my friends last week for our monthly book club, when my phone rang. Now my husband and I have 4 young children and I’ve been in this book club for about 5 years now. My husband has NEVER interrupted me before. Even when our twins (numbers 2 & 3) were newborns. So, naturally when my phone rang, and I saw it was him, I was a little concerned. He was actually calling because our shipment from Olive Oil of the world was on the front porch and he wanted to know if he could open it!! (I had ordered some items to give to friends). When I told him what we were keeping he practically hung up on me and when I got home I saw he devoured a half a loaf of Italian bread in the rosemary olive oil and Calabrian chili paste. The Calabrian chili paste is delicious not just dipped in bread, but we put it in salads, on sandwiches, and on eggs. We make a delicious sandwich with egg whites and the chili paste on a whole wheat wrap, YUM!! We also did a blind taste test between the Italian Bonamini extra virgin olive oil and a store bought brand. We could easily taste the difference. The Italian Bonamini was sooo much better and has such a nice aroma. As for the rosemary olive oil, while I love just dipping bread into it, it is also delicious in any of my chicken dishes. My children love the flavor of most herbs, especially rosemary, but heaven forbid should they actually see a piece of green from the herb in their food! This is a great way to get the flavor without having them complain about seeing it in the food.

Even though I would consider myself a lover of great food, I will admit that I wasn’t often aware of some of the unique details that make certain dishes beyond fabulous, until I began using the olive oils from Olive Oil of the World. To say that the balsamic vinegar is the best I’ve ever had would be an understatement. My husband and I use it every day on our salads and without it; it just taste boring. The flavor is exceptional and would rival any aged balsamic vinegar you would find in an Italian, five star restaurant. It’s actually quite addictive. Oh My God!!! I feel like I am addicted to the balsamic vinegar. I was given a small tiny bottle as a sample to try it out. I have never tasted anything as good as this. It had such a yummy flavor to it that I was hesitant about sharing it with my son…… when he copied me pouring some on the plate to dip in his burger in I told him not to use so much because there was so little left in the bottle! Admittedly, I am not a person that likes to cook or even cherishes a good recipe passed down from generation to generation – but, I do LOVE to eat fabulous food. We have been enjoying your Greek Olive Oil with Baby Arugula leaves. Drizzle Oil with some sea salt, squeeze a couple of drops of lemon and toss lightly to insure all leaves are covered. Light and refreshing you actually taste the peppery flavour of the arugula. And try the Rosemary Olive oil with plain popcorn. I ate the entire bowl !

When I have people over for dinner, I put out samples of the different vinegars (I think I have all of them.) It looks like your display at the Green Market. Everyone seems to enjoy sampling the different vinegars with fresh, warm, crusty bread. I often use the Honey Vinegar by itself with salads without using any olive oil with it. The days of having truly fresh fruit here in Indiana are several months away. I am looking forward to using the Honey Vinegar with fresh fruit for dessert. My friends ask me to bring back bottles of the Honey Vinegar with each trip to Palm Beach.

My daughter gave me a sample of this new balsamic vinegar. I told her all vinegar tastes the same, why pay so much when you can easily get it at the supermarket cheaper. She said not like this…… well boy was she ever right! This is definitely better than any supermarket brand. I have never seen vinegar that does not run on your plate when poured. It was so thick and rich, and oh – the delicious taste it has! I cook a lot for my children and grandchildren and now this is the ultimate flavor enchantment for all my meals. I can’t wait to try all the olive oils as well.
